Meet Lori Zhou, a software engineer on YouTube's live foundation team. "In my role, I'm working on the backend systems that allow livestreaming on YouTube," she explained. Lori's exposure to #lifeatGoogle started in 2019, when she attended a Google-led workshop on campus. "I've always been interested in building new technology, so it has been a goal of mine to work here ever since." After completing a master’s degree and a career change, Lori's dream has become a reality! Her favorite part of working at Google? "Definitely the people. I've met so many incredibly smart and supportive colleagues. I'm constantly learning and growing, and it's such a rewarding feeling to see my progress and contribute to something meaningful."
